
I am a registered Rehabilitation Counselor and Psychologist, licensed by the Rehabilitation Council of India, with over eight years of experience in the field of mental health. I specialize in assessing behavioral manifestations of various disabilities, academic and learning disorders in children, and in designing training programs for parents and teachers, along with conducting developmental workshops for students.
My expertise includes mental health and wellbeing, relationship counselling, sexual wellness, parenting, and career counselling. I am a POCSO-trained counsellor, having received training from facilitators and the legal team of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
I am trained in a range of counselling techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing, Compassion Focused Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked closely with the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), Government of NCT of Delhi, as part of Project StepOne and the broader COVID response. I provided crisis tele-counselling services to individuals in need across 13 states.
In response to emerging mental health needs, I have also been trained as a suicide prevention gatekeeper by the QPR Institute and have completed training in loss and grief counselling.
I regularly conduct webinars and counselling sessions for corporate employees as part of Employee Assistance Programs. Additionally, I have worked closely with defense personnel and their families, delivering group counselling sessions and webinars on wellness, and have facilitated training programs for AWWA and the Army Welfare Education Society.
