Tapping in Womens Correction Center

At Nyamagabe Women's Correction Center in Rwanda, things were a bit tricky. The staff had a hard time helping the inmates who were feeling really down and struggling with their minds. Something wonderful happened when they started teaching the inmates how to handle stress and tough times with Trauma Tapping Technique, TTT.

Tapping was like a magical touch that changed things. Before TTT, some inmates would get really angry or even hurt others because of their mental struggles. Many used to take lots of medicine to feel better, but that changed too. The number of people taking medicine went down from twenty to just three and even those three took less medicine than before.

The best part was how peaceful everything became. It was like a gentle breeze that made problems go away. There used to be lots of people who felt really sad and sometimes did things that worried others. After TTT, things got better. It was like a superpower that helped everyone feel more at ease.

From my own experience as a staff member, TTT made our job simpler. We didn't have to work as hard to help the inmates become friends again and feel better. Thanks to TTT and the special lessons, the Nyamagabe Correction Center turned into a happier place. It's like a shining light that shows how important it is to help people with their feelings, especially when things are tough. TTT and the lessons changed things for the better, making the inmates' lives happier and bringing more peace to the facilities.
